I found this 1971 Plymouth Satellite Sebring Plus in a pasture south of a little town called Farnam. The minute I saw it I got in trouble and gained the "old car syndrome". Well this car took me through a wonderful battle to obtain the original title(car was listed as stolen 10yrs earlier). Well, after solving that problem by basically buying the car again, I set about to make this car mine. We tore is apart to find that I had several issues. Some could be seen in plain sight(hail dents, fender rusted through on both sides, a remnants of a meeting with a tree stump..etc.), and some that couldn't (rusted rain pan in the firewall, #2 piston welded to the walls of the cylinder). I have slowly gotten it fixed. At the start it was going to be a restoration only. That changed. I decided to change the brown bench seat interior into a black bucket seat console shift interior. I had to go find a motor so I found another small block(couldn't afford a BB). It turned out to be a mystery motor (high compression like 13:1 I think is what the gauge said). It looked like a 360, but the block number says 318....well anyway it needed rebuilt. It had a valve stuck, so instead of fix it, I bought new 360 drag racing heads. It also sports a lunati Voodoo flat tappet cam adn lifters, Summit Racing double roller timing chain, edlebrock performer RPM intake, Hooker racing headers, HP Oil and Fuel pumps, and a MSD Ignition. I still haven't gotten a carb yet though. The plan for this car is to replace it FE5 Rally Red paint with the B7 Evening Blue Metallic(something a little more subtle...). Unfortunately, the car has to go on hold because I am starting College this fall and I have to support a money thirsty Pontiac:)..although any leads to the parts I need (basically: carb, rear quarter panel (driver side), advise..etc) would be gladly taken
