Was in car when purchased. Is it a 2 speed, three speed or variable. Yhe switch has only has two settings. When blue wire (Wiper park) is connected it trips the switch breaker, With blue wire disconnected from bulkhead blue wire to ground = 3 ohms

its not a two speed looks like a 3 speed to me i believe 3 speed and variable speed are the same motor just different switches. if your switch only has two settings you either need a different switch (if car is wired for it) or you will need a two speed motor along with enginebay wiper harness

Two speeds stick out into the engine compartment. The three speeds and varibles lay flat against the firewall as the one pictured.

Also if your car(69-70) is equipped with a FUNCTIONAL N96 Ramcharger or Air Grabber hood you will NOT be able to use a 2 speed wiper motor as the oval air cleaner base will not clear the 2 speed motor, unless you want to cut up the air cleaner base.

EXACTLY, that is why with any car with an air induction option the 3 speed wipers were a manditory option.

Maddart I think I answered you on another forum on this one, but that is a three speed, 915/982 style wiper motor
