could this be done?
stroking a 5.7 hemi out to a 392 then throwing on a supercharger?
Carbureted or EFI?
Manual transmission or automatic?
strip dominator or street cruiser?
then comes the question of......PRICE!

I dunno I was just thinking about this since I saw a 5.7 hemi and tranny out of a dodge truck for 1,800 and then go to thinking about stroking it.....then supercharging it hahah man that would be a hell of an engine

The block looks very likely to NOT be able to take any kind of added boost. They seem to be very light weight.

Some guys in TX tried and grenaded several lower ends.

I'm sure it can be done. SMS is making a 500 and a 700 HP version of the 5.7 Challenger R/T

It can be done and has.
Check out our Dark Runnerhttp://www.plumfloored.com/DSC06386sema.jpg
Its a 6.1 stroked to 426, blown with a vortech making 700 in current form, and built to take 22pounds of boost to make 1000h.p. once the new blower comes out.
We can aslo stroke a 5.7 our to as much as 410 cubes, but would recommend a 5.7 392
We can also do a TWIN SCREW postiive displacement blower as well.
We do all the electronic to make this work in vintage applications.
We can even run the 5spd automatic with autostick, or paddle shifter too!
