Looked a '73 for sale today

I looked at a 73 Charger for sale locally today. This car has a nice solid body, and I believe it is wearing its original paint. The interior is ok, the seat is ripped and the dashpad is cracked, but the rest of interior is in presentable condition, just needs a good cleaning. Its a automatic, with disc brakes and power steering. And now the crazy part... its a factory slant 6 car (WH23C3). I haven't got to meet the owner yet, but sign says it runs good. His asking price is 2700, what do you guys think.

If I lived nearby I would buy it! Nice looking charger. I think they look good without those opera windows that you see on most chargers of that year. I used to have a black 74 charger with the 360. Lot of fun!!!

Oh wow, I just noticed, the passenger-side door glass is tinted (for ac?) but the rest of the glass is clear.A good bargining point to get the price lower.

Man, I'd kill to go look at a car and have it be that clean. (Well, not really kill, but you know...) See if you can get him down to $2200. If he doesn't bite right away I say jump on it. With a 6-banger under the hood you know the car hasn't been beaten on. What rear end does it have?

Although I woulda loved to snag that one up, I had to pass. With Christmas coming up (have 3 kids) and I plan on going to College at the first of the year, and I NEED to FINISH the 69 one day, I decided I didn't need it right now. He must have sold it though, I rode through there the other day and it was gone.
