Is anyone re-popping the buttons on the heater control panel or offering a decal or a way to reproduce the lettering that gets rubbed off of the fan switch? I did find someone restoring them on ebay but all I need is a way to fix the lettering on the temp and fan switch.

I attached a pic of the type I am talking about.

the letters are raised aren't they? this is just a thought but have you thought about going to a local hobby shop and getting a fine tipped artist brush with a bottle of model paint?

There are some fine lines indicating the lettering and that is an option. But I was hoping somebody was making reproductions or even some decals that would look good.

Like morbidgoat said just use some white model paint but as an added tip instead of using a paint brush use the eraser end of a pencil as a make shift rubber stamp. Lightly dip the tip of the eraser in the paint and stamp it on the lettering.

I picked up a decal kit for the temp., fan, and slide control knobs from www.performancecargraphics.com . I figured they looked alot better than trying to paint a straight line and they are only $6.00 for the set of three.
