would it hurt the status if i changed the orig exhaust to dual ? i've upgraded the front brakes to disc,new shocks electron ign,and put a holly on,but i still have all of the orig parts saved.

JMHO:

1) It's YOUR car. Do what YOU want to with it.
2) You've already made some upgrades - so why stop now? Just save the original system if you're really all that concerned about it.
3) Judging by the question, i.e. changing to dual exhausts, it didn't come with a powerhouse RB or Hemi so it's not one of the highly collectable (read that "High Dollar" if you like) models to start with so why not refer to my point #1 and do what makes you most happy?

Ray is right. It's your car, do what you want.

BUT...

as Galen would say, they're only "original" once

In my opinion you are killing the "survivor" aspect of your car. But as I've said elsewhere "Opinions are like a proboscis....everybody has one"
