Hello I just wanted to introduce myself. I bought a 68 Satellite convertible a year ago with out a motor or tranny and have did some work to the interior and am ready to install a little 273 and auto tranny. Thought I'd join up here to get some help whenever I need some advice, Thanks

Welcome to FBBO 68! I am digging the Satellite and it looks like you have a couple of other projects at hand.

Welcome! Judging by the pictures of that good looking Satellite 'vert "little 273 and auto tranny" must have been just a big typo and you meant to write "built 440 and 727 with a nasty converter"...

That will be a fun one to have on the road!

well actually I have the parts to build a 451 wedge.but I thought I'd go with the little 273 first. The 451 should be pretty wicked ,440 source kit,Edelbrock 84cc heads,Engle cam, etc. just haven't put it together yet. This was a former drag car ,mini tubbed ,frame connectors, sump gas tank, roll bars, etc.I've removed the roll bars and only plan to drive it on the street. The other cars belong to the guy I got this from, but I do have a 70 Challenger project also but has been on the back burners for many many many years,so long I've forgotten how to put it back together :rolling: .

Welcome to the site. That's a nice looking Satellite and should make a great cruisin car. If you get over to Davenport, stop in and I'll show you our '71 Charger.
