Daily driver needs part !

Well, I thought I would come over here from the 'A' bodies to look for help. What I need is a trans-yoke from a 833. It needs to be the large 4 inch diameter to fit a ball-n-trunion. I was told this larger yoke was used on the 'B' bodies from '62 to '68 ? I know most of you guys have already made the change to a cross type u-joint for good reason's. Did anyone save that yoke you don't need anymore ? Thanks!,,,rick

Rick I believe 65 was last year for ball and trunnion. I know for sure 66 has a slip joint. On automatics,65 has a slip joint and 4speed probably is also. You may find that the yoke from an auto will work. Jerry

i have a 66 and i could swear it has a ball and trunion front joint .Its an auto behind a poly if this is what you need pm me

Actually, as far as an AUTOMATIC goes, 64 was the last year for a ball and trunion. The 65 trans was still a cable shift with front and rear pumps, but had a regular slip yoke.

I don't have a 65 service manual, but I would lay odds that the 65 4 speed had a slip yoke as well.

Try checking with the guys at the 62-65 Mopar site. The guys there can probably help you out.

[I navigated from the 62-65 Mopar site to Brewers.] I also found my torque bar bushings and trans mount I've been needing. [I fabricated my last bushings myself from a door handle] Keep 'er safe,,,,,,,,,,rick:)
