NOTE

This car is located in Oromocto New Brunswick Canada...approx 1 hour east of Houlton Maine!!!!!

Ok guys... I was visiting my brothers and he wants the Coronet SOLD! So, he's asking $10,900.00 I have a link with over 60 pictures.....

So....here it is....

1968 Coronet 440 (model) 318 automatic. This car had the original paint but required rust repairs. The following was done...

Body: The body on this car is super clean. It was original paint with some rust repair required when he brought it up from Kansas in 2005. The body has had the following repairs done. First off, both front fenders had rust where the braces sit around mid fender. Rust areas were cut out, repaired and NEW braces put back in. The front windshield was removed and the channel cleaned out. There was a small hole near the lower right side which was repaired, the area was painted then a NEW windshield gasket was installed along with the windshield. This was a vinyl roof car, there was NO rust under the roof, it was removed (because he prefered a non-vinyl roof car) and the holes filled where the moulding were (C pillars) smoothed out and primed. The rear window was removed, channel cleaned up, again one small area repaired, repainted and new window gasket installed with the original rear window. All NEW clips were installed in both windows at that time also. The rear taillight panel had a hole near the taillight, again repaired. Now on to the quarters, both rear quarters have had the following replaced with NEW PATCH panels from Year One!! NO cheap stuff!! Both dog legs replaced, both lower quarters replaced. Also the center of the trunk floor is original but the trunk extensions have been replaced, again with proper patch panels everything finished off and painted.
The body on this car is almost ready for paint.... some priming... blocking and finish work...all the hard (expensive) work is done! This car has the RARE and hard to find CORONET R/T or SUPERBEE BULDGE HOOD and a complete 500 rear finish panel and taillights included.

UNDERHOOD: Ok, this is a factory 318 (2 bbl) auto car. Not sure if it's the original drivetrain. Engine runs good but could use a cab kit and some tuning, still has the points dist! This is an A/C car but the A/C parts are long gone, also has the original paint on the inner fenders and firewall and rad support.

UNDERSIDE: The underside of this car is clean and solid. There is NO rust and NO repairs required! SOLID torque boxes, floors, trunk floor and frame rails!!

GLASS: All glass is original to the car and since it's a factory air car all the glasss is factory tinted. The original front windshield is showing some fogging around the outside edges which is normal for a car of this age.

WHEELS: The car is sitting on aftermarket aluminum slots with almost new tires. Factory non-power drum brakes all around. Included with the sale of the car is a set of factory correct 14" Magnums.

INTERIOR: The interior is in very good shape, new front and rear seat covers from Lengendary Interiors, mint original dash pad (NO cracks),Mint door panels, clean original dash area with original THUMBWHEEL radio.. .and yes it works. New carpet installed (seatbelts included but need to be installed). The only thing required is a new headliner and arm rests (old one's are cracked)! This is a factory column shift bench car. All trim is included with the car including the inserts for the hood! NO missing pieces!!!!
