Heater blower fan

Does anybody know how detrimental it is for the fan to be perfectly round. Some idiot kind of bent mine a little bit. Who am I kidding I did it, that damn thing was stuck on there good.

Well hopefully it works ok when I reinstall it. Another question, to check to make sure the blower motor is working I can just hook it straight to a battery and it should start spinning, right? If it doesn't work does anybody rebuild these or should I try to get a new one?

I tested mine with a battery and worked fine. You can send it out to be refurbished as well, if need be.
