I find myself needing to sell one of my projects way earlier than I had hoped. What I have here is a 1972 318 Satellite that was built on the first day of 1972 production at the St. Louis plant. The VIN is 206. The car is very solid but is definititely a major project. The interior is toast and it has not run in who knows how long. I have started the body work and you can see most of the work in my project thread about this car.

I have pulled the engine and tranny as I was planning on shooting the enginie compartment and jambs as soon as the body work was done. The car was originally gold with a tan interior. Bench seat, column shift automatic, a/c and not much else as far as options go. I planned on cloning it into a Road Runner and have already gotten the hood for it. I also planned on making it blue and white. I've got the white headliner already and I started to paint the trunk metallic blue. If you want I will include a gallon of the base coat with the car if you want to keep this color scheme. I will also include a set of hood and roof strobe stripes. I planned on using white for those.

I have a bunch of pics posted on Cuda-Challenger.com

Forgot to mention - This car has no rust on the floors or frame rails and is very solid. It has had the driver door and quarter panel replaced due to an accident some time in the distant past. I welded a patch into the lower passenger quarter panel and that was the only metal work I had to do. There is a couple of small rust spots in the roof from the factory vinyl but these can easily be duraglassed.

I will take more pics of the car as soon as I can push it outside for a better view.

Okay, since nobody was seriously interested in the car in primer, I went ahead and finished the body work and painted it. I still need to wet sand and buff it, which I plan on doing this week. As soon as that is done, I will be installing the white canopy vinyl top and white RR stripes.

Price is now $3500 obo

Just to clarify as well, I will set the engine and trans back in it as well for the buyer (if they decide they want the 318/904 combo - it's not #'s matching anyways which is the main reason I cloned it instead of doing a resto).

Okay - still no buyer so I am continuing to work on it. I hav einstalled the white canopy vinyl top, hood to fender tank tracks, over the roof strobe strie and a nice lookin gset of wheels and tires.

Heck I've even lowered my asking price to 3 grand!! Remeber this was a virtually rust free car to begin with, now it is painted and pretty. You are getting a whole car (including engine & trans if you want it) for less than most people pay for just a paint job.
