How bout them vw bugs

So uh yeah i might get killed but i was wondering what you guys think about them old vw beetles at the track? I've seen some run like bats out of hell and i though there cool (maybe a future project of mine) since you wouldn't expect these bugs at the track let alone running as fast as they do. Anyways heres a video i though was pretty sick i swear that must be like a space ship taking off lol.

I can't find the site but there is one dedicated to the VW drag cars of the 60's. They were keeping pace with v8's too! If I can ever find it I'll post it.
