Just noticed this. The air cleaner pictured isn't for a 67 440 GTX or R/T . Those cleaners have been substituted over the years by people from c bodies and look similar to the originals but are smaller. A 67 GTX or R/T with cap would have the hose coming off the driver side snorkle not the air cleaner body. My car is no cap but my air cleaner looks like this one below without the hose fitting. The indent is in a different place from the smaller c body one also. They take the pie pan so they are used when originals can't be found or just mistaken id. Here is a good air cleaner ID reference.
