I finally killed it

I finally finished off the cordoba in the derby. Here is how it pretty much went down. in 2009, I won my heat and got 2nd in the feature winning $500, I lost the front bumper, smashed the rad, bent lower control arm on passenger side, broke Tie rod on driver side, broke the spider gears, and burnt up the tranny. Got it all fixed for 2010, then a week before the derby this year the tranny goes to crap again, so put another one in, 2010 Derby car is destroyed and I walked away with another 2nd place finish and $500.

Well it WAS a pretty rust free car that might have made a nice driver. But that's not the point of demo derby's

yea, maybe, but there was no title and the trunk was totally rotted out

Dayam. I did a 'private' demo to a 67 Dart once. Took some hard hits and well, it's not something I would care to do anymore I don't think lol

You should see some of the other cars Ive had that went to the derby etc.. When I bought the 78 Cordoba, I got a call on another one, a 76 with 24K original miles on it, parted it out and sold the body to another derby driver. A 68 Newport body, fairly clean. I at least will pull the parts i can't use and sell them resonable to somone who may need them for their driver.
