Hey guys, How do drag shocks ride? Whats different from drag shocks and normal shocks? I know drag shocks will help transfer weight is there any cons to that? Is it worth those cons? Or would i be better off with those adjustable KYB shocks with the dial on the side?

All drag shock should be adjustable. You can adjust them for street driving or strip as you will want them losser (sp) for the vstrip than the street.

I looked into shocks for my car...Man drag shocks are expensive...KYB,s I felt were kind of old school...I went with edelbrock ias shocks....Check them out!!!They seem to work very well for ride comfort and cornering..

EDIT: Also just though about this, Knowing a big block is alot more weight then my 318 will the shocks be different?

Now for the same price as the rear shocks they have those Summit adjustable shocks for the front. will adjustable front shocks be worth it?

Front shocks can help if you go to the track occasionally. You can change the setting to let the front rise easily allowing better weight transfer to the rear tires. A must for traction with street tires

That's in it's future. So i guess i will need to replace them, I have a feeling they're all original or near it...

I got the actual replacement monroe rear*air shocks and they were about 150 -
They hooked up easy and I can bring my rear up and down no prob
Also they were different for a 440 than if I had the org. 318 in my car.

they say you should match your shocks with the rest of your suspension ie torsion bars, leaf springs, sway bars...
