Removing Dash to access speakerspicazo415 11-28-2010, 07:07 PM I trying to figure out how to take the dash off on my 68 dodge coronet to replace the speakers in the dash...any suggestions or input. detmatt1 11-29-2010, 04:20 AM You've got to pull the windshield to gain access to most of the fasteners. Drastic unless you need a new windshield. One speaker in the center?, you will have to go up from underneath or possibly remove your gauge cluster and access from the front. gregs70 11-29-2010, 07:08 AM I got to the center speaker in my 70 buy removing the ash tray and radio first. I would think a passenger side speaker could be gotten to by taking out the glove box liner. Driver side may require taking out the instrument cluster. One other hint - it is easier to work under a dash if the front seats are out of the car. Good luck! | |||
