trying to close on a deal.ive known about this car for about 10 years now and finally convinced the owner to sell,i'll talk to him next week about $.GTX #'s 440,80k original miles,hemi 4spd,dana rear.

Where the heck are all these cars??? THey have been there a long arse time to have them sink into the ground like that!!!

3 different farms by my house,theres another place ive been to thats got 20-25 challenger rt's,charger rt's,and roadrunners but i did'nt bring my camera.

That 68 charger R/R has been there a very long time. The trees have grown into the car. You would have to take the trees down to get the car out. There are alot of nice project cars there to save and put back together. Nice score if they can all be had.

I am with you on that update. I would have needed a change of underwear if I stumbled on to that. Unfortunately these people probably know what they have and even though they know they will never get to them, they don't want anybody else to either.

I hate it when people just park classic like that and watch it slowly deterioate to nothing.
They would never have the money, time, or skill inebuilding or getting to run again.

We need to start a program and name it "Car Protection Services". (CPS)
Anytime someone finds classic car(s) being abuse, neglected, mistreated, or abandoned by it present owner that a full alert would be sent out via telephone, internet, word of mouth, (like an "Amber" alert)

It getting harder and harder to find these cars, and it just sickening to see pictures these just sitting in an open field rusting away. the longer they sit, the harder it is to save them.

I've got 2 that I am also resurecting and they look like they were/are in worse shape than the ones in this thread. These cars do need to be protected though, it clearly shows the ignorence of the owner. If these cars are sitting on farms than make some room in a barn or outbuilding for them or sell them off to someone that will show them some respect!.

what makes you want to choke people like that is when they respond, No it not for sale, one day I'm going to get around to fixing it up. \

Or even worst is when they say think they have the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow because they saws a Challenger on TV go for a million dollars on Barrett jackson, so they think it worth $30,000 just the way it sits.

I know, these cars need to be saved. One of the funnest things I like to do, is venture out into a junkyard! But, sadly, there are not many around anymore!

Snow tires = salt on the roads = MOPAR typical rust spots = making AMD wealthy (no problem with that at all, they make great stuff).
