Hell I would have paid the $1,500 if it were within 5 or 6 hours from me and the fact that nobody picked it up for $900 blows me away!

I found an old temp permit under the seat and was able to contact the registered owner who was still at the same address 20 + years later, sold me the registration for the car + a truck load of good sheet metal and parts for $500.00 I got the car registered in my name, sold it , the bought it back 10 months later, then re -sold it to a friend, it will be getting restored, if he loses interest I have first chance to buy it back yet again.
