Electric fans

What brand and style electric fans do you guys use (push or pull)? Did you have to get a bigger alt and rewire for the larger amp rating?

I use a dual speed MK8 fan and bring in the low speed adjustable fan on at 185 and the hi speed side on at 205 for an all aluminum engine.

(I wired everything for the fan circuits through 75 Amp HD motor relays with 10ga wiring and 6 Ga wiring from the 150amp alternator. Ran the 6GA all the way through the car to power posts for direct charging and supply for the electronics. Crimped, soldiered, and taped or shrink tubed all connections, coating everything with dielectric grease. Everything works great.)

i found that Spal fans seem to be the best..push or pull..looks like you have everything else under control with the relays and wiring

I added a 1600cfm pusher fan inside the nosecone of the Daytona...I still have the clutch fan on the engine. I use the electric fan when needed on hot days.....

I can't remember the name, but I got it from Car Quest back in 1996....
