I am by no means an expert at this. I have just got into bracket racing myself and am in the process of building a 73 Charger. I WAS TOLD to mount it as close to the fuel cell as possible to the frame. I drilled the frame and mouted it with the mountinmg hardware provided with the pump. That's all the help I can ghive you

The original poster's need for help related more to the use of Thorazine. He made this (and other) posts baiting people to answer, show what they did wrong, and then he could ridicule them for it.

His shitty attitude is why he's been banned from practically every forum he's ever been on

You just read my mind. At least it was fitting that he went out with a post count of 454. Anybody who was that much of an a-hole had to be a Chevy guy at heart. ;)

You know, he started a bash thread over on YB, and then didn't have the BALLS to keep after it when he got ganged up on.

We can only hope that he occasionally lurks ands sees what is being written about his sorry ass, meanwhile being completely unable to respond...kind of like its his own personal "Twilight Zone" episode...

It all depends on your application. No exhaust, full exhaust, or exhuast with turndowns at the rear axle. Also, fuel cell, sump, or factory tank with pickup can also dictate where it should be. Everyone agree's it should be in the back but that is not always possible, especially with full exhaust on a street car. P.S. I know the original poster has been banned but his question was something relating to subject matter I have had experience with.
