How many years did they use the pin type and on what? I got a set of 11.7" brakes that supposedly came off of some behemoth land yacht and they have the slider type. I read somewhere the pin type are better to have, probably because they don't hang up. I'm thinking converting to the pin type is just a matter of changing the caliper brackets - yes? If so the next question is....Who has a set of brackets for me? Thanks.
