For you multi make old car owners???

Does any one know what size splindle nut is used on these old cars? Is it the same size across the board or does it vary with different makes and models?

I am specifically interested in intermediate and pony car models such as Mopar B & E bodies, GM Chevelle, GTO, Cutlass, Skylark, Camaro, Firebird, Ford Fairlane, Mustang, etc. Also, is there a differnt size between V-8 and 6 models?

Now thats something I've thought about .I usually just put back the one I took off .If I had to guess( which is what I'm going to do ) I think they would differ from make to make.Also would guess they're the same for 6-8 cars. I do know the front springs are different between the 6 and 8 cars. I think as they got newer say 62 on up they got more heavyduty .But what do I know?
