hey yall,68 charger,383,727,non ac,polar white on black, buddy center seat, column shift,ps,power drum brakes, the car is all here and in great shape, pretty sure this is not one of the more rare chargers,so im thinking restomod unless someone can convince me to go factory correct.thanks for any knowledgable input in advance. mac68.

I am not a big fan of resto mod, generally lean to the old school look, but you are driving it so do it your way! You only live once and if you do it right once is enough. Best wishes ether way you go, nice charger!

Restomod, but keep all the parts you take off so it could be put back to original at some later date.

Nothing special in anyway as a 68 Charger so I would restomod it and do what you want. But then again I am the guy that took my original 78 Little Red Express Truck and slide a 77 4X4 chassis under it. Now people say that I rebodied it. Guess I really did even though I still have the original frame for it. Fuck em, it's MY truck!!!!!

Original on the outside, some creature comforts on the inside and update the drivetrain, brakes, wheels/tires.

I don't think you can screw up the appearance of a `68 Charger, it's not easy anyway, and that one is a prime candidate for a "build it the way you want it". Love those cars!

well, interesting dilema; you are the only person that has to be happy. lump on it for awhile weigh the pro's and con's of both ways, go in the shop with a big bottle of j.d., lock the door, drink bottle and make a decision. life is to short not to do what you want and be happy about it.

ps; good luck and have fun doing it.

If you were actually going to go the exact concorse..soo much time wasted you could be enjoying the car ...I say go restomod and upgrade what you need/want to.
Take care-

Too ordinary to be bothered with Concours... personalize it for your own driving pleasure... that would be a Restomod vote from me.

p.s. note spelling of "Concours" :nono:

thanks for all your opinions, just didnt want to take away much value if factory wuz gunna be worth alot, but since this one was a popular optioned car ,think im gunna give it some modern upgrades and keep all the original parts, dont worry all u concorse geeks, im not gunna chop the top or put fender flares on it.

Definitely restomod. Concours costs big bucks and is only worth it if the car can command it's price when done to cover the investment. Besides, restomod's much more fun IMHO.

P.S. - Column shifters are cool. I'd leave it.

make it the way you want it !!!!!!!!!

Took the works right out of my mouth! Don't worry about what others think unless you plan to flip it and want to get better idea's what will sell better.
