I have attached a picture of an item I am needing. It is the linkage that goes from the brake booster rod to the brake petal. My car is a 1970 GTX with power drum brakes.

That linkage is a must to install a power brake booster on a 66 and up b-body. reast83 02-24-2011, 10:24 AM I found the part needed, thanks for the help. 5.7 hemi 02-24-2011, 10:35 PM Just why is it a must? I did not like that on my 64, so I put the booster straight on the firewall with the reinforcement plate. Just had to enlarge the holes a tad. This pic was before the paint, and making several brake lines before I finally got it right. reast83 02-28-2011, 07:09 AM I want to keep the car original. ga66mopar 02-28-2011, 08:30 AM Just why is it a must? The reason this is needed is because the brake booster on 66 and up is moved up higher on the firewall than a non brake booster car. 5.7 hemi 02-28-2011, 11:15 AM That makes sense. | |||
