Hey, All-
Here's a photo of the diferential case that will be going back in to my 66 Charger very soon. I sandblasted it then painted it. After paint, I dropped it off to an artist in KC, MO who did some pintripe work on it. I've always wanted to have a car with a pinstriped case...don't know why...but now I have one. The orange is almost the same color as the 440 going into the car, so there will be a connection from the front of the car to the rear.
Yep..I know it's not stock, but I think it is going to look great under the car. Hopefully I can get the rear end assembly fully put together and placed under the car next weekend. It will be nice to have it on 4 wheels again!

I'm very surprised my mural painted hippie bird didn't have a striped case.
It's cool man, I like it!

I'm adding a couple of photos of the progress. The first photo is with the new SSBC disc brake assemblies installed. The second is with a couple of very worn old tires and wheels I got with the car. (Not attached with lug nuts, so they are just "resting" on the studs.
The e-brake cables are going to be something I need to work on further. The stock cables go into the brake drum assembly more perpendicular to the drum...they now run parallel to the rotor. That requires a severe 90 degree bend of the cable as it exits the mounting tab. I'll figure something out.
She's coming together!

Cool looking!! But you have a problem with your shock plates. They will not work at all in that position if you are still using the stock upper mount. You need to swap sides and point the studs to the rear.

You are correct, Cranky! I had the shock mounts on the wrong side. I figured that out as soon as I had the unit in the car and tried to put the shocks in. I should have known something was wrong when the u-bolts didn't want to go through the holes on those mounts.
It's feeling MUCH better since I fixed the mounts.
