Clutch fan and new rad don't work.

Just got a new 26" rad from US Rad, and I don't have room for my clutch fan.
68 Coronet, 440, no AC, HD alum radiator, Mopar clutch fan.
I can JUST get the fan on, but only 1/8" gap to rad fins.
Are there different clutch fans? Or do I have to go back to 4 blade?

I,ve seen this problem posted before and noted the reply,s to use a 2 3/4 Hayden # 2765 or Napa 261306.
