67 b body scoop ?

are there any 67 scoops beside the gtx for a 67 plymouth if not i guess im gona run a hemi scoop like on the blue 65? in the forsale section

There is a 67 Hemi hood scoop that was used on the WO and RO factory package cars.

Kramer I believe carries the WO and the RO restamps. They have a 5" I think, I can't remember for sure.

I have the WO scoop from Sled City Fiberglass. It is great!

yes sir, bolt on to stock steel hood with a hole that I cut in the bottom.

Threaded studs are molded into the bottom of the scoop!

I would definately use the 5". They say that many hood scoops are really useless as they are not high enough to catch the air that is flowing off the front of the car and bouncing over the top of the hood.

Yep, and I think the 69 440 six pack hoods ar just BARELY high enough.

For looks, the 3", for performance and not so much looks go with the 5", it winds up looking like a box on your hood...but thats just my opinion...I'm too late in this coversation anyway!

Just my opinion and everyone has one...I like Welderboy's scoop the best, his is a 66 car. I think that although the RO WO scoops fit theses cars very well, they are everywhere, his is functional and different and still very suited to the body style.. I believe it's based off the old mopar prostock style scoop.....

did he move his springs inboard to get that wide of tire under that car?

I believe the springs are inboard to the frame and it's mini tubbed,. I have raced at a track rental with him, and even looked under the car but I can't remember exactly...old age I guess...lol

i had the same scoop on my 69 back in the day and really liked it. this is the first time i've seen one on a 66. not bad at all...that car just looks like it wants to start a fight!
