They have a 5" I think, I can't remember for sure. 440brew 01-29-2009, 07:03 PM I have the WO scoop from Sled City Fiberglass. They say that many hood scoops are really useless as they are not high enough to catch the air that is flowing off the front of the car and bouncing over the top of the hood. 69 Runner 02-11-2009, 12:26 PM That's why the T/A scoop was made the way it was....up out of the boundary layer 696pack 02-11-2009, 08:45 PM That's why the T/A scoop was made the way it was....up out of the boundary layer Yep, and I think the 69 440 six pack hoods ar just BARELY high enough. daredevil 02-11-2009, 10:22 PM what scoop do yawl think would look best on my car? 5.7 hemi 02-12-2009, 11:45 PM Max Wedge, it just has A$$ kicker written all over it. I think that although the RO WO scoops fit theses cars very well, they are everywhere, his is functional and different and still very suited to the body style.. I believe it's based off the old mopar prostock style scoop..... http://www.forbbodiesonly.com/moparforum/attachment.php?attachmentid=589&stc=1&d=1216904758 evanbrendel 03-13-2009, 07:48 AM did he move his springs inboard to get that wide of tire under that car? Gary67 03-13-2009, 08:00 AM I believe the springs are inboard to the frame and it's mini tubbed,. I have raced at a track rental with him, and even looked under the car but I can't remember exactly...old age I guess...lol 66_B_Body4ever 03-13-2009, 12:09 PM Gotta tell ya daredevil, the orange on your Coronet is growing on me rapidly...she looks pretty hot. 66sat440 03-13-2009, 02:36 PM i had the same scoop on my 69 back in the day and really liked it. this is the first time i've seen one on a 66. not bad at all...that car just looks like it wants to start a fight! evanbrendel 03-13-2009, 07:30 PM I believe the springs are inboard to the frame and it's mini tubbed,.
