building something to tow Fugly to local shows, thought it might interest some of you....here's what I started with:

Work in progress:

http://i146.photobucket.com/albums/r241/Fugly61/61%204%20door/100_0643.jpg
Where it is now:
got the chrome all on (had to make some pieces) and the bedliner done- need to do some cleanup....need headlight bezels and have some straitening to do on the grill

On a side note, when I backed it back in the garage, the amazing torque of the leaning tower of suspense ripped the engine clear out of the car,,,,must be 3000 ft lbs or better....on a more serious note, if anyone wants it, claim it before next weekend and it's yours- I don't want to mess with shipping local pickup only- it runs, probably needs bearings looked at, does not smoke and likely makes 40 hp in the current state of tune....

Nice work.....Looks sharp!

It looks way better than my '81 Cutless that I turned into an El Camino after a semi truck hit me.

Now to turn my 4 door Valiant into an Aussie Sport Ute....

Thanks fugly, Reason i was wondering is there was a guy on some show i seen not to long ago that planed down some boards off a old barn, He then polyurethane them clear and had nice metal strapping between them, really looked sharp and was curious as how you did this one. You must have a tremendous amount of hours in this, it sure does look good..
