I understand that a 1975 Road Runner is not the most desirable RR made - but to my knowledge it is the rarest. In the last 10 years I've only seen one at All Chrysler Nationals & one at the Ohio nats. So if you are a Mopar lover that cares to be a little different - please take a couple minutes & check my RR out. Like the subject line says - it's a 1975 Road Runner "K" code. 1975 was the last year Plymouth used the RM21 or 23 code to signify a true RR.
Only 7,831 RR were built. Of that total number it's believed 20% were "K" codes. Far less then that with the optional Moon-roof which mine has. In fact my RR has so...many factory options - it takes "2" fender tags to list them all. It's a "2" owner car. It received a full body make over a little over a year ago. It was repainted the original Vintage Red Metallic & does have the correct decals. I recently repalced the rear tail-light bezels with NOS units. I also replaced the front parking / signal light lens with NOS pieces. The Dark Red bucket seat /console interior is all original & in very good condition. The dash pad has a couple small cracks - but I have a mint one that's included in the sale. The 360 engine in the RR now is not the engine the RR was born with - but it is a 1975 date coded 360 engine. It was professionally rebuilt with a .030 over-bore - Keith Black pistons. Mopar Performance 474/474 cam.
The heads were modified to accept larger "J" head valves. Headers - Edelbrock Torker intake & 750 vacuum secondary Holley carburetor. The 727 transmission was also pro-built with the addition of a Shift-kit & Huges Street/Strip converter. B&M flex plate. I have a TCI tranny cooler that also goes with the RR. The rear is the factory installed 9-1/4 (12 bolt) with 3.21 gearing. Non-posi. It still has it's original Polyglass Goodyear G-70-14 spare tire, jack & hardware. It rides on Mopar Magnum 500 rims & B.F.Goodrich T/A radial tires. I have reduced the price to $9,500.00 which is less then 1/2 the investment cost. I will post pictures as soon as my ad is cleared by the staff.
