I then routed the speaker wires behind the kick panels and under the sill plates and under the front seat. Using RC connectors I can disconnect and reconnect the speaker if I wish to remove them. I allowed about 10' of speaker wire so I could locate the speakers anywhere in or out of the car. Great for cruise in's, shows and the drive-in shows, they sound great. Best thing.... No cutting of anything on my car. old tired rebel 07-04-2011, 10:00 AM I bought some car speakers for my Doba. Sony Xplod 5 1/4 in speakers and don't want to cut holes in my door panels. I found this "new in the box" Kenwood radio for $100.00 with free shipping on ebay and mounted it in the glovebox. It's am/fm-CD-with remote control and I can plug a Ipod into it. Now I have the "purest" original look with a great sound system. old tired rebel 07-04-2011, 03:34 PM Great idea.
