Heater Cables

Started to look at the "to do" items on my 71 Satellite. All the vent and heater cables are either broke or frozen. Does replacement entail removing the dash? Thanks: H

on a 69 B body you have to remove the radio and then you can drop down the heater control slides and get at it through there. YOu will also need to remove the glovebox.
