Anyone used one of these? Happy with it? Difficulty of installation?

Always used the Hurst unit....line lock, launch control.....doesn't matter what the brand or what it's called. I just used it for doing burnouts with an automatic but used it for holding the car on the line with a stick and doing the burnout. With an auto and if you're foot braking it, it's pretty will useless to stall against since you usually have skinny front tires and you'll push the car through the beams once you bring up the rpm.
