My dad was actually part of the RTC, [Resolution Trust Corporation] during that. And what they had to do was go into businesses, and show them how to run and pay back their loans to the banks. So the feds went in and showed them how to make a profit in that business , so they could pay the bank back!! Even though they were brothels!

I don't know if its the truth or not, but ive heard anyone on welfare doesn't get drug tested, I DO, The welfare people go to the doctors and get pain pills and who know what else and they don't take them they sell them, i know this because i take them and a few months back the doctor made me do the pee test to make sure i had them in my system, then CHARGED me 1,000 bucks for the test. they hold a medical card, i have nothin! theres going to be some of us jumping the border to get out of this country if things don't start getting better. The U.S. today was trying to convince China that their multi-trillion dollar investments in U.S. Treasuries are safe.whats up with all that it shakes me up some to see this stuff and our country at the very least looking like were behind the times, were falling apart! Well sadly, both parties are owned by the same folks that call the shots. Just look at the current fed chief, who was appointed by Bush, and Barry kept him. His solution is to print more money and keep interest rates near zero. Who does that hurt? Answer - all the folks that have been responsible with having a savings acct, and getting nothing in return, and everyone will have to pay more for everything as dollars are worth less with more printing. Just my .02 worth.

Term limits that's the best solutions in my opinion, get rid of the career politicians or at least run for a different position or office & no returning to a previous office held in the past...

we still hold more power than most civilized countries...I own guns and hot rods....I know other countries you can't have either....it's getting a lot rougher, but election is coming and hopefully the donkey's head will come out of the elephants ass and we will actually have a government doing something about the problem's with the economy and infrastructure so that we all have a safer place to drive said cars and job's within our own border will be created....instead we have a 2 1/2 year long debate on were our presidents birth records are really from and loans taken by the rich from the poor that the poor will have to pay back for the rich..hmmmmm red pill/ blue pill?....besides...if we go bankrupt our government gets dissolved and china has a new land fill...and I'm sure no one in power wants to lose their life long insurance-life long salary-tax breaks-free housing-scraping people like me from their boots on the "floor" every morning..ect.
