I'd really like to find some repro dash bezels. decent used is OK too. Looking for black wrinkle finish on a standard dash. Rally dash bezels are everywhere, but does anyone make the standard parts? 3 pieces....over glove box, radio, and to the left of instruments. I've been searching for years. The pieces in my car have been cracked and modified.

Thanks

I have to agree with you, I don't ever recall seeing the 3 pieces that you are looking for, just the whole dash bezeel kit including the cluster bezel...some of those don't even have the left hand piece you are looking for.
Would buying the entire package and selling off what you don't need, be an option? Other than that maybe good used is your best option.

I found a really nice left hand piece on ebay today and bought it for $15. I guess I'm just going to have to wait it out. Removed the old pieces as well today. Looks like someone cut their own out of plastic and put thin flat black adhesive backed vinyl over them. (not pretty)

The radio is another story. Should I get a used bezel on ebay and chop it up for a modern radio, or buy a bezel and an AM radio? AM/FM radios for a '70 are way up there in price. One year only I guess.

I guess that's a personal call, I have the straight AM radio in my '70 as it's what the car came with and I don't listen to tunes much and like the factory look. I may put in a hidden system someday to have the best of both worlds.

If you're not buying re-pop then used would be the way to go, just takes more time....I'll keep my eyes open as I'm usually crusin' parts etc too.

i have the secret audio system in my 70 roadrunner.it sounds great and not difficult to install. i like the nostalgic look of the stock AM radio and hate cutting into anything on my car. heres a few pix of the controller.....so i guess its not that secret after all.

I have made a major breakthrough! I found 3 decent non rallye dash pieces....and restored them myself, and they look awesome. I was racking my brain and the solution hit me like a ton of bricks. Thinking about offering this service to fellow 70 B Body owners! This is my first attemp. Pebble Grain covering is new, emblems on the long piece and silver on radio bezel are repainted. I even made an original looking radio plate for a new Radio/CD Player.

Hit me up if you know anyone who needs their stuff made new again. The only thing I can't do is replace broken mounts on the back. I can epoxy cracks and glue original studs back on before re-covering though.

When I get my dash together I'll post some photos.....gotta finish straightening out butchered wiring first though.

Looks nice. I made a face plate for a modern radio that will look good. Main reason for not putting in and original radio is the fact that I don' thave one. I have a sweet bezel now, so I'll put it away and pick up a radio in the future. I lean more towards original too.
