Question for you winged warriors...

Hey guys, being in the NASCAR frame of mind. Perhaps you can help. I am looking for a rear spoiler or even dimensions for one for a '71-'72 Roadrunner like the one on Petty's Winston Cup '71 car. I figured if anybody could help, it might be you folks.

Are you talking about the small rear spoiler on the deck lid. Just looks like a piece of aluminum bolted to the rear edge of the deck lid to me. Shouldn't be too hard to duplicate.

Why yep, that would be the one. I know it should be easy, I even have the aluminum. I was just looking for some specs. Saw a Petty Car at the Spring Fling a couple of years back, but was pretty sure if I took a tape measure to it, I would've been maimed or worse. Plus, if anybody had one, it would be one less piece to fab.

I carry a cloth seamstress tape measure for doing just that. Of course I always ask first and show them the cloth tape. They seldom refuse.

Hadn't thought of that. If nothing else, I can make a buck custom tailoring clothes until I find the right car to measure again......
