Cleaning radiator fins

My radiator cap started a leak and I now have white residue down the fins on the engine side of the radiator. The radiator is perfectly restored and painted. How should I clean the white stuff off? Thanks

try vinnegar,white residue should be calcium.shouldnt hurt your paint,but i would try it on a spot you cant see first.
