Need help with cooling system on a 64 Plymouth

Working on my dads 1964 ply cooling system. He has a very streetable 440 w a 671 blower. Looking for combos and fixes that give clearance but will keep it cool in the staging lanes idling in the heat.Please any pics would be awesome

Can you post some pictures of what you have now??How much space between the crank pulley and the radiator in the car now??

The radiator is an aluminum vertical flow factory replacement, (bolts up with factory mounting wholes) purchased at I believe Mancini. Probably a champion radiator. Water pump is electric Meziere I believe also in an aluminum housing.

Hey HEMI-ITIS saw some pics of your cooling system. What fans are u running and are they pushers. My dad was looking at modifying rad support also. I worry about weekining to much. Anyways thanks for any help.

Does any one know if the Taurus (doran) fan can bemused as a pusher fan

I used apair of gm camaro fans.They hane been reversed to pushers,Stock mopar waterpump in an aluminum housing.I did use a moroso electric pump for the dyno session.I was also able to shorten the snout and bring the pullie IN towards the engime.It's tight:eek:
