Hood/Air cleaner center

Probably a dumb question, but since the motor is a couple inches off center, but the hood scoop is not, is the air cleaner off center as viewed thru the hood scoop? I have never seen a pic showing this.

The opening in the hood on the underside is offset to the pass side by 2 1/2"

So when you look thru the closed hood the air filter cover is off center?

Yes! You can see that the opening is offset to the left, pass side in the picture.
