Here's a suggestion.

Stop banning people for mundane things and giving them "demerits" that mean nothing.

Treat people like adults and when you make a statement like "Anything goes" you might want to actually mean it.

Otherwise delete it because it means nothing.

I'm sure this thread will get locked/moved/deleted just like the other one for no apparent reason.

Its simple. People who at like adults are treated as such. Those who want to bicker and start trouble wont be tolorated. The other members here want to talk about their cars, not read posts meant to start trouble and bicker.

Try reading one of my 335 posts and see how many were bickering and how many were actually productive and helpful...

Oh yeah, there is only one person that I've "bickered" a VERY FEW times with and that person manages to get himself banned on pretty much every board out there.

You know, if you look at how many people have viewed this thread and have NOT commented on it should give you an idea of how much we just don't care about your drama.

If you want to talk about cars, contribute some of your knowledge or are looking to have questions answered then that is what this board is all about. If you want to act like a little kid then we don't need it and you can find another site that enjoys that kind of thing. That is my take on it.

Let's jusy say we have at least 4 websites we go to.Here & moparts are heavily modded.YB & Josh are not.We have tested the outer limits here and have to play it cool.That's what the other 2 sites are for.Just don't post aything on any of his wonderfull & informative posta:eusa_think::grin:I for one want you to stick around here.You ARE dimented enough to fit in with the rest of us misfits.Havn't we heard THAT before:ozzie and the spide:sideways tongue::tearyeyed:

Hey listen... Its simple. Some forums are okay with bickering, trash talk, etc. And that is fine for them. They are entitled to moderate how they see fit. I want my forums to not have that, and I am entitled to feel that way. If you have a thin skin, then there are some boards you shouldnt go to. If you are a rabble rouser, there are also boards you shouldnt go to unless you adjust your behavior. Its real simple. If you want to get along with everyone and not start trouble, I would love to have you here. If you cant communicate without starting drama, then I would prefer you werent here. Its nothing personal. I prefer to run a forum that has minimal drama. That is my choice.

I really appreciate the absence of drama and trash talking on this board. A big reason why I became a gold member- to support a site that is all about talking cars, not garbage. If that's your thing, there are millions of outlets and havens of negativity, ignorance, trash talking, and everything in between right on this very internet.
