Some other forums I use have Body of Knowledge (BOK) and Tutorial sections that I've found to be very useful. These are used to catalog posts that are useful for organizing information that many users need.
BOK posts contain common information such as parts interchangeability, VIN decoding data, max/min tire/wheel sizes, firing orders, year/model specifics in regards to trim, engines, etc., production numbers, etc.
Tutorial posts provide step-by-step procedures, and hopefully lots of pics/illustrations, for performing common but complicated tasks such as converting from a column to a console shifter, converting from an auto to a 4-speed, installing headliners/carpets, removing window trim, engine swaps, disk brake conversions, etc.
