69 Runner 07-08-2008, 08:38 PM Real deal 69 1/2 six pack road runner RM21M9A
This is the only B5 4 speed sedan A-12 runner on the registry
I've owned this car for 10 years, and it has always been a Texas car. NOM, but numbers matching 4 speed and original 4.10 Dana. Runs and drives. I rebuilt the front end and brakes so I could drive it. New Legendary interior (except for door panels) included.
This car is a total stripper from the factory. No rear arm rests, colored front arm rest bezels, bargain basement steering wheel, and radio "delete". Still has the no hole fender. All original sheet metal. Hood was total trash, so I have a new one (not one of those lite weight racing pieces). Will probably need patches on lower quarters, but that's it. Floors and trunk are SOLID!
Car is complete except for fast idle solenoid and Prestolite.
Intake, carbs, exhaust manifolds, "H" wheels, 054, and that $2000+ breather assembly are all there. This is THE car to restore.

(wheels in the pic are NOT the "H" wheels and are no longer on the car)

GTXperience 07-30-2008, 12:37 PM Congratulations! Did you sell it to another FBBO member?
69 Runner 07-30-2008, 12:44 PM Well....there's been no discussion as to whether I can say or not. He has said nothing publicly about the purchase, so I don't feel like it's my place to say anything. We just agreed when I had received the deposit I would take it off the market. So I did:D
GTXperience 07-30-2008, 01:12 PM Enough said. Again, congratulations!

gregs70 07-31-2008, 01:23 PM Gee, the second yellow car behind your car in the picture, the one that looks like a 70 RR with a go-wing, sure looks familiar...
69 Runner 07-31-2008, 01:34 PM It should. It's in that tiny lil square under your name:D

Tem,
So consider this (my first post on FBBO incidentally) my expressed permission to go public. The trailer is hooked up to the truck and both are prepped for a long trip. Everything is set to go. We'll crack open a couple of cold, adult beverages to consummate the deal on Thursday afternoon/evening. I'll see you then.
And just to confirm - The wife DEFINITELY KNOWS!!! LOL
Ray

Again, congratulations to the both of you. I am glad to see that it is still in the family. Ray, have a safe drive out this week to pick up the RR.
69 Runner 08-08-2008, 08:28 AM Well boys and girls, it rolled out of here about 8:07 am Bolognia Watts Time....otherwise known as CDT today. Guess it's time to move on to something else.

I am sure that was a little difficult to see it go but now it's time to go crazy with the '68.
69 Runner 08-08-2008, 01:02 PM Yep. Time to get back on the Sedan, and I'm looking in to another couple of things to boost the (meaning my) economy
ACME A12 08-11-2008, 05:36 PM Well, as Tem said, we rolled out of his place a little after 8 A.M. on Friday morning. We pulled into the driveway a little after 7 P.M. on Saturday evening after stopping to visit my parents on the way back. We ran into a KILLER rainstorm about an hour east of Dallas - that was fun. NOT! Other than that, nothing too eventful...although we got some bad gas outside of Tallahassee that made the SS/T buck like a Bronco for a few miles. We had a great time visiting with Tem, and my son Kyle really enjoyed Tem showing off his gear-banging prowess in the his Mustang GT!
Here's a few pics:
1) Tem & I - Tem's doing his "Kilroy was here" impersonation...
2) Tem, Kyle, & Bambi - my wife thought that the A12 needed good "stripper" name...
3) Getting tailgated on I-65 in Alabama...
Ray
ACME A12 08-11-2008, 05:49 PM Here's a couple more.
1) Friday night in Mississippi. Mean Green earned his keep on this trip. His first duty as a tow vehicle after we got rid of the '04 Quad Cab.
2) Bambi in her new digs.
