69 Runner 05-31-2009, 10:20 PM Guess you could always do some sort of a FOOSE two tone kinda thing
gregs70 05-31-2009, 10:33 PM Acording to the pics you look a little young to be driving...
I believe some of the RRs or GTXs had black across the hood from one air grabber insert to the other. That's my idea.
5.7 hemi 05-31-2009, 11:32 PM Satin or flat black, either is gonna set it off.
BlueThunder 06-03-2009, 02:03 PM Go nostalgia drag car look....stickers over the scratches, paint a big name on the side....
Dare to be diffrent!

AdamR 06-03-2009, 06:05 PM I would do the 68 hood black out (across the scoops) and change the rims to chrome Magnum 500s or steelies with dog dishes.
prhousejr 06-03-2009, 09:44 PM I am going to do the steel wheels, and dog dishes for sure. I think I am going to go with black on the hood. Thanks for all the ideas.

I am a huge fan of your car, but I dont want the attention, and my car aint fast. I drive my car every day. It is hard enough to blend in as it is.:santa:

craigp 06-04-2009, 01:54 PM Flat black satin black the whole hood. That's my vote.

Yer in a BRIGHT RED muscle car...you're gonna get noticed.
That's the point, right?

You make a very valuable point.......but I really just love my old car. I dont care if anyone else likes it or not..... aaaaaaaaaahhhhh HECK!!! who am I kidding, I love the attention. :penguins paint pixi Not from cops though....no attention from cops is a good thing.....:surrender2:
68383GTS 06-04-2009, 09:41 PM No racing stripes leave those for the Chevys. In 68 there was a flat black hood treatment where the hood was painted semi flat between the scoops.A fairly hard option to find.I would not flat black the whole hood either. Just my opinion Jim
rolling_Thunder 06-06-2009, 09:04 PM I'd do the 68 style performance hood treatment - keep the Keystones - that's my votes
prhousejr 06-06-2009, 09:40 PM I agree on the keystones. I love the old school look. I still want a set of skinny steel wheels with dog dishes. I get bored, changing the wheels will give me something to do every couple of months.
brian.linn 06-06-2009, 09:52 PM How about white car with black out hood, finished with the Plymouth lettering in black on the rear quarters, black steel wheels and possibly the hubcaps.
