Alaskan_TA 07-24-2008, 09:03 PM Adam is right, there are two different sizes, they will not interchange - you need the right year wheels too. The newer dog dish caps are smaller, 9" across the back. 1968 Dodge caps; http://www.hamtramck-historical.com/images/dealerships/DealershipDataBook/1968/68_Coronet0014.jpg 1969 Dodge caps; http://www.hamtramck-historical.com/images/dealerships/DealershipDataBook/1969/69_Coronet0012.jpg onebadmk8 07-24-2008, 10:22 PM Thanks for the info guys. 69 Runner 07-25-2008, 03:10 PM All I can say is I've never had a problem putting any poverty cap on any wheel. The difference may not be size, since that info says nothing about different size caps, just different size wheels. It could be there was a difference in the caps ala stainless Vs aluminum Alaskan_TA 07-25-2008, 03:40 PM I am not exactly sure when the caps got smaller. I had some 1965 wheels I tried to put the 1970 style caps on and it was a no go. The newer caps interchange, stainless or aluminum makes no difference. gts340 07-25-2008, 08:26 PM There are indeed two different sized caps. I have some of each, but I'm not sure what the larger caps are off of. 69 Runner 07-25-2008, 08:34 PM I know there were some truck caps that were larger AdamR 08-03-2008, 07:07 AM Here you go. http://www.forbbodiesonly.com/moparforum/showthread.php?t=543 hotwheelsjr 08-08-2008, 04:13 AM '68 caps -- http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v339/hotwheelsjr/Cars/The%20Cuda/DSCF1158.jpg | |||
