Ok so here is my issue and I will do the best I can to explain it. I'm rebuilding my front suspension on my '69 RR as some of you already know. I thought everything was going fairly smooth but now I've hit a roadblock (I think). On my driver's side everything went back together and when I put the brake support and brakes back on everything turned how I thought it should left to right (brake support bolts that go through the spindle are horizontal to the ground from the left and right bolt.) Now I have the passenger side on and things do not turn the same way. It turns left and right but at a serious angle where the right bolt on the brake support to spindle is a lot lower than the left bolt. The angle of the turn from horizontal is probably -20 degree difference. Keep in mind that neither driver or passenger side have been anything more than finger tighted when it comes to the LCA spindle bolt, strut bolt, or the cam bolts on the UCA. I didn't think this would matter because the driver's side isn't going toe crazy. Anyway before I ramble on I'll see what you all have to say and I'll explain more if need be. Oh yeah also when I took my passenger side strut off the forward part of it was bend just ever so slightly but it was so little I only noticed it when I spun it like you would a cue stick at a bar to get a half way decent stick. I didn't think this would be enough to require replacement.
