Edelbrock Shocks

Hey gang, Has anyone had any experience or comments on the Edelbrock IAS shocks. The literature looks good, but that's advertising. I'd like real comments from those who use them. I'm considering buying a complete set, but it's about $400. I like the gun metal colored classic series for my Coronet R/T.

Hey 69 R/T, if you go onto the Mopar Style web site i seen a few comments about those shocks. The comments I have read are positive, check for yourself. I currently use HAL shocks they work good.

Hey 69 R/T - dantrap, I put KYB's for all my Mopar's (for street application). I think they work great for my needs and are a whole lot less expensive (buying direct)... Have you used KYB's in the pass???

Bob, KYB's used to be the standard, used them on a 72 i once had.

I had KYB's on my '68 383 GTS, they seemed ok but not fantastic. I'm currently using KYB's on my son's '74 Duster, but it has no sway bars and high lift springs, so that's not an accurate indicator either. I sent out an earlier post asking for recommendations, and the consensus was split between KYB and Monroe. I'm curious about the Edelbrock shocks though.

A buddy of mine just put KYBs on his 67 Dart and he was impressed. He doesn't have sway bars but he does have 1.06" TBs, front poly kit from firm feel, their strut bars, a steering box from a company in Vegas and he reinforced his k member. He says it handles like its on rails. The KYBs were the last thing he put on and he said it was the icing on the cake. I'm sure there are better out there but you get what you pay for.
