Big block switch and torsion bars

When going to a big block from a small block do you have to get a different set of torsion bars also? Stiffer ones?

you should get new ones when adding the weight, alots of guys crank up the adjusters and that puts alot of stress on them. Take a mic and measure diameter. THen you can see what you have.
