64 Dodge 330 Trim Destroyed - need help.

Hello all, I’ve been reading the forums for quite a while and thanks to everyone who’s information has helped up to this point.

I have just had a terrible experience which resulted in the front and rear windshield moldings and other chrome parts being destroyed by a freight company. I know this stuff is not available new and not really available used either… but I need to file a claim with an approximate value of the damaged parts. What do you think all of this was worth seeing as I am going to need to try to replace it all?

Here is the destroyed list:
Upper and Lower front windshield moldings
Passenger side upper windshield corner
Driver and passenger drip rail moldings
Driver and passenger four piece door sill set (found repo for $335)
Upper and lower rear window trim

First, Welcome. Sorry about all your trim getting killed. I hope you're on the shipper's collective corporate ass over this.

Sorry. I misunderstood the purpose of the post.....sooooo I'm putting it back.

Guys help him out with some ideas of the value of this trim so he can hang the shipper for wrecking his.

If you can wait for about 1 month, I have extra stuff you need, the value of it is expensive cause they dont reproduce some of the pieces you need. I will give them to you at no charge, just pop for the shipping, or a possibility is the fall fling in van nuys, I can bring it down with me. Let me go through my trim and see what extras I'll have. I'm glad to help out a fellow in need if I can.

I would call a mopar only salvage yard, such as wildcat mopars in Oregon, and see what they would sell those pieces to you for. That way you have a quote from a business and that would make your claim that much better. I'd say you have about $400 worth of trim.

I contaced that Dr. Mopar guy, seems like he's got quite a bit of salvage parts. Thanks for the idea.

Saw some of the trim you need on ebay, you would think that stuff was made of GOLD! Too damn expensive for the work it would need to be nice.
