'65 coronet 440 trunk lid

Can some one tell me the exact measurement from the bottom of the trunk lid or deck lid to the center of the key lock? Looks like some one removed mine with a hatchet.

Well I guess I didn't do this right about . I didn't know about the "welcome wagon" I will have to read the rules closer and follow them. Sorry about that. Thanks for your help and once again thanks for the welcome.

Aren't exactly any rules, and it isn't required to post in the "WW". However, it keeps it all on a more personal and friendly level to do so. We all like to know something about the people we're talking to. You just wanted to jump right in, and I guess that is as good of an endorsement for the site as anything.

Well I won't be back at the shop until next thursday so when I get there I will get some pics and meaurements. Hope someone gets you the info before that.

from the lip of the trunk lid to the center of lock assy. is 2.5" . hope this helps !
