What color stripe????

The one stripe along the top of the lower section of the 1969 GTX, some are red, some are white? What would I use, meaning, what did Los Angeles put on my Q5 color GTX in 69? It's either red or white, I think it was white, white was used on lighter colored GTXs that year. What say you all? Anyone know?

I dunno. I thought they were all red (the small stripe which is actually all that got deleted if you wanted the stripe deleted) and it was a tape stripe I think.....(not having owned a 69 GTX......YET)

Interesting. I didn't know you could delete that little stripe, but, hey, these cars are 40 yrs old! Who would have thought back in 1975 that these cars would be desirable today!?

I know someone who ordered a 69 GTX new and wanted the stripe deleted. What he got was his B5 car with black stripe at the bottom and NO red stripe. What he wanted was no BLACK stripe. But that couldn't be deleted.
