New take on pistol grip shifterSCredneck 07-30-2008, 12:50 PM Was at Pep Boy's the other day getting tires on my S-10. Certainly a different flavor. Big Mike 07-30-2008, 08:13 PM  SCredneck 07-30-2008, 11:17 PM Ya shoulda seen the grin on my 16 yr old's face when I showed it to him. rumblefish360 07-31-2008, 06:28 PM Knowing the shifter stick, how did you mount that on there? SCredneck 08-01-2008, 05:32 AM The black collar protruding below the grip slides down over the shifter stick and is held in place with two set screws. To shift, either push down or pull the trigger. daniel_depetro 08-05-2008, 08:20 PM It took me time to get use to all the variations of the original pistol grip design (ex. carbon fiber, rosewood, etc.) but I am pretty sure this one is going to revisit me in a nightmare tonight.  Not my style, but if you like it our opinions don't really matter anyways. At least it was only $15.00. If it is cheap enough people will buy anything. SCredneck 08-05-2008, 11:11 PM As there was no handle on the stick when we got the car, we needed something. When I saw this for $15, the "different/strange factor" was more than I could resist. GTXperience 08-05-2008, 11:23 PM  Not my style, but if you like it our opinions don't really matter anyways. At least it was only $15.00. If it is cheap enough people will buy anything. Absolutely correct. Our opinions don't mean nuts. I for one just like to voice them whenever I get an opportunity. SCredneck 08-05-2008, 11:58 PM Besides, this car is being built for my 16 yr old son. The grin on his face when he saw it will be worth more than anybody else's remarks. GTXperience 08-06-2008, 12:53 AM SC, I hope you know this is all in good fun. I am sure he was tickled pink when he saw it. 71Charger 08-27-2009, 03:25 PM Hey SCred, You probably don't want to let him drive it to school they might confiscate the car thinking it's loaded and ready to be used on other students! gregs70 08-27-2009, 09:18 PM Will it work on a Caliber or a Magnum? BuckNeccid 08-28-2009, 03:56 AM I gotta feeling you could make a few bucks with those on e-bay... ramenth 09-03-2009, 08:38 AM Will it work on a Caliber or a Magnum? Ouch! Speedy Canuck 03-15-2010, 12:29 AM To shift, either push down or pull the trigger. Well that's pretty cool.
